What was supposed to be a routine solo road trip turned into an adventure the moment the sky turned grey. As I drove onto India’s latest and most ambitious highway project, a sudden rainstorm transformed the road into a thrilling experience.
Strength Tested by Nature
Instead of being worried, I was amazed at how well the highway handled the downpour. The excellent drainage system prevented waterlogging, the road surface provided enough grip to stay in control, and the clear reflective markings made sure visibility was never a problem. It felt like the road was built to handle anything nature threw at it.
Finding Shelter on the Way
When the rain became too heavy, I decided to stop at one of the rest areas. It was well-lit, well-maintained, and had proper shelter for travelers.
